Founded in 2010 by brothers Steve and Paul Beam, Limestone Branch Distillery is a relatively young producer of American Whiskey in the "Bourbon State" of Kentucky. Despite its recent history, the distillery places great emphasis on its rich family history in whiskey distilling, spanning seven generations. Their great-great-grandfather, Washington Dant, was an early Bourbon pioneer, and their great-grandfather Minor Case Beam belongs to the family of the famous Jim Beams.

In the 1960s, the Yellowstone whiskey brand was one of the leading brands in the USA, until it eventually ended up with Luxco after several changes of ownership. Luxco founded Limestone Branch Distillery specifically for the production of the Yellowstone brand.

The distillery's Special Finishes Collection is an ever-growing exploration of finishes and perspectives on its iconic bourbon profile. To expand the collection, the Rum Cask was created. Through nine weeks of aging in rum barrels directly from Havana, Cuba, they impart notes of spice and tropical sweetness to their four-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.
