Bottega BACÛR Distilled Dry Gin 40% vol. 0.7 l is a classic distilled dry gin that combines the historical origins of gin with modern Italian distillation techniques. The origins of gin date back to the Netherlands and are closely linked to the physician and physicist Franciscus de la Boe, who researched the effects of essential oils derived from juniper. From there, gin found its way to Great Britain and rapidly developed into one of Europe’s most influential spirits categories. With BACÛR Gin, the renowned Bottega house draws on this tradition and reinterprets it with a distinct Mediterranean character.


This Italian gin is produced in the Veneto region, using pure Alpine water and exclusively botanicals of Italian origin. Tuscan juniper berries, sage leaves from the Triveneto region and lemon zest from Sicily are each macerated separately in water and alcohol over an extended period. This is followed by a meticulous double distillation, which removes any unwanted off-notes and produces a particularly clear, elegant distillate. The characteristic style of this dry gin is based not only on the selection of botanicals, but also on the precise conditions under which the aromatic components are extracted. At 40% ABV, Bottega BACÛR is well-balanced, finely structured and long-lasting.
