Founded in 2015 in the Scottish Highlands near Inverness, GlenWyvis Distillery is a remarkable example of community engagement. More than 3,600 supporters helped to make the project a reality, and the distillery is now entirely community-owned. GlenWyvis is particularly proud to be completely off-grid and powered exclusively by renewable energy.

Only local Concerto barley is used for whisky production. The mash is fermented for approximately 96 hours before distillation to develop optimal flavor. The whisky is matured in a careful selection of casks: First Fill Tennessee Whiskey Casks, Oloroso Hogsheads, and Refill Scotch Whisky Hogsheads.

This variety of cask types contributes to the complexity and depth of the whisky, giving it a distinctive character that delights both connoisseurs and lovers of Scotch whisky alike.
