Demerara Distillery, located on the tropical northern coast of South America in Guyana, has been processing sugar cane since 1670 and has built an outstanding reputation over the centuries. The EL DORADO brand, known worldwide as a premium brand for high-quality rum, is distinguished by its artfully crafted blended rums.
These are produced not only from different vintages and batches but also through the use of various distillation methods, including the Enmore and Diamond Coffey Stills, as well as the Port Mourant Double Wooden Pot Stills. The rum matures for a period of 12 years in selected oak barrels, which gives it its special depth and complexity, making it particularly desirable for connoisseurs.
