Initially, it matured for 18 years in ex-Bourbon casks before receiving a three-year finish in fine Ruby Port wine casks, which gives it a distinctive aroma and exceptional depth. It is particularly noteworthy that the bottling is done without chill filtration, thus preserving the whiskey's natural structure and richness.
