The Edradour Distillery, known for its characterful and intensely peated malts, has created the "Ballechin" series, which appeals to lovers of smoky whiskies.

In 2024, on the occasion of the Halloween festivities, the renowned distillery presented a special single malt from this series, aptly named "Trick or Peat". This whisky is 13 years old and, according to the distillery, was matured in selected Bourbon casks from 2010 to 2024. Bottled at an alcohol content of 46.6%, "Trick or Peat" is characterized by its natural color, as no colorants were used. In addition, no chill filtration was performed to preserve the full aroma.

The special edition, limited to 666 bottles, is specifically aimed at collectors and connoisseurs.
