French Single Malt from a Cognac house? That's right: Arlett is a whisky range developed by the Tessendier family, who, in addition to the renowned Cognac brand Cognac Park, are also responsible for Saison Rum.

Thanks to their decades of expertise in brandy production, the Tessendier distillery has created three single malts that, despite their young age, impress with an astonishingly mild texture and a surprisingly complex variety of aromas for young whiskies. The pronounced softness on the palate is created by the successive reduction to drinking strength, which takes place during maturation and gives the Arlett products their unique mouthfeel.

The peated Arlett Whisky, the only whisky in the range to be characterized by its striking smoke profile, matures exclusively in ex-bourbon casks for a period of three years. These casks, previously used for maturing bourbon, give the whisky additional depth, while the peat smoke remains present throughout the maturation period and gives the whisky its characteristic, smoky aroma.
