Tement Winery, located in Southern Styria on the border region with Slovenia, primarily focuses on cultivating white grape varieties. 95% of its vineyards are planted with varieties such as Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Gelber Muskateller, Pinot Blanc, Morillon, and Traminer. The wines, grouped under the designation "Styrian Classic," originate from various vineyards and mature in stainless steel tanks. In addition to the "Styrian Classic," the winery also produces single-vineyard wines, each reflecting the characteristic influence of its specific growing site, and aged in both large and small wooden barrels.

The Blauer Zweigelt grapes for Tement Zweigelt Selektion thrive on loamy calcareous marl soil. After a natural spontaneous fermentation, the wine matures for 6 years in small oak barrels before being bottled and sealed with a cork.
