The Bushmills Distillery, located in the picturesque County Antrim in Northern Ireland, is the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Its origins date back to 1608, when Sir Thomas Phillips received the first license to produce whiskey in the region. Jose Cuervo and Bushmills have launched an exclusive "Steamship Collection" series for duty-free retail, inspired by the SS Bushmills, a 125-year-old steamship. This ship marked the beginning of Bushmills' international trade in 1890, particularly with the USA and Asia. The fourth edition of this whiskey was produced using an elaborate triple distillation process, achieving exceptional purity and smoothness. Subsequently, the whiskey was allowed to mature in first-fill Caribbean rum casks, which gives it a unique and multifaceted flavor profile.
