The Lochlea Distillery is an independent single malt distillery located on Lochlea Farm in Ayrshire, near Glasgow in the Lowlands. The old farm was converted into a distillery with a bonded warehouse. The distillery commenced operations in August 2018.

Former Laphroaig Distillery Manager John Campbell runs the family business. The Scottish poet, Robert Burns, lived and farmed on the farm from 1777 to 1784.

The barley for production is grown and harvested on site. The water is drawn from limestone springs deep beneath the distillery. This ensures complete traceability from field to bottle.

Following the Harvest Edition First Crop and the Harvest Edition Second Crop, this single malt represents the third and final bottling of the Lochlea Distillery's Harvest Editions. The Third Crop has matured for an additional year and was aged in carefully selected bourbon and port wine casks to develop a sweet, summery flavor profile. Inspired by the annual barley harvest, this edition captures the character of the season and fully showcases the typical Lochlea flavors.
