With the Ardnahoe 5 Years Old Inaugural Release, the youngest distillery on the Scottish island of Islay is launching its very first own single malt bottling – a significant moment for the region and for collectors worldwide. The Inaugural Release is a single malt Scotch whisky that matured for five years in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks. This cask selection brings out vanilla sweetness and bright freshness, as well as deep fruit notes and spicy oak aromas. With an alcohol content of 50% Vol., uncolored and non-chill filtered, the whisky remains completely natural in its expressiveness – powerful, authentic, and distinctive.
