Pasote Tequila comes from the Mexican state of Jalisco and is produced in Jesús María by master distiller Felipe J. Camarena.

The name "Pasote" stands for the courageous spirit of the Aztec warriors. They usually celebrated their victories and rituals by drinking agave juice. Pasote Tequila is also distilled from blue Weber agave.

For its production, the agave hearts are baked in traditional ovens and crushed with a mechanical tahona. 40% pure rainwater and 60% spring water are used for distillation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks.

The bottle designs of Pasote Tequilas feature drawings dedicated to the sun god. The Pasote Blanco depicts the Aztec sun god Tonatiuh – the patron of warriors. The bottles are handcrafted by a family of glass artisans in Mexico.
