The Argiano Solengo Rosso Toscano IGT 2022 is a characterful red wine from Tuscany, blended from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Sangiovese. The combination of international grape varieties with the time-honoured Sangiovese lends the cuvée a distinctive Tuscan identity. During vinification, the different grape varieties are first processed separately in stainless steel tanks and fermented at a controlled temperature over a period of 12 to 16 days. This separate processing allows the specific characteristics of each grape variety to be incorporated into the final blend in a targeted manner. Once alcoholic fermentation is complete, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation before the longer ageing phase begins.

The Argiano Solengo 2022 is then aged for 15 to 17 months in new French barriques. The consistent ageing in new French oak emphasises the powerful structure and sophisticated style of this Rosso Toscano IGT. With an alcohol content of 14.5% in the 0.75-litre bottle, Solengo is an expressive red wine blend for lovers of structured Tuscan reds aged in barriques. The combination of four grape varieties, separate temperature-controlled fermentation and extended barrel ageing makes the 2022 vintage a versatile wine for hearty dishes and special occasions. The bottle is sealed in the traditional manner with a natural cork.
