La Contesse is a winery that has been run by the Bonotto family since 1970. It is located at the foot of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hill in the province of Treviso, Italy.

The winery specializes in the production of Prosecco and primarily uses the Glera grape variety, which is ideally suited for the production of sparkling wine.

Le Contesse Prosecco Frizzante Treviso is made from 100% Glera grapes sourced from the province of Treviso. The harvest takes place carefully in the first and second ten days of September to ensure optimal ripeness of the grapes. After gentle pressing of the grapes, the must is clarified and fermented at low temperatures to preserve its freshness and aromas.

The second fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled pressure tanks (autoclaves) with selected yeasts, which gives the Prosecco its fine perlage and harmonious structure. After aging, this dry Prosecco is bottled and sealed with a screw cap.
