Description
Bedin can look back on a wine-growing tradition stretching back over 70 years, which began when Giacomo Bedin acquired the estate in Cornuda in 1948 and planted the first vineyard there to produce small quantities of wine for family and friends. These humble beginnings laid the foundations for what is now a renowned winery.
In the decades that followed, his son Giovanni played a key role in shaping the estate’s development. As a pioneer amongst local wine producers, he helped to establish the ‘Mostra del Vino’ in Cornuda and to expand the estate’s vineyards by planting new vines on the southern slopes of the Colli Asolani. This location is ideal for growing the Glera grape variety, which forms the basis for the estate’s high-quality Prosecco.
An outstanding example of this work is the Bedin Asolo Prosecco Superiore, which impressively reflects the distinctive characteristics of its terroir and its prestigious provenance. Made from the Glera grape variety, this Prosecco captivates with its lively acidity and finely integrated bubbles, which emphasise its elegant character. As a premium Prosecco, the Bedin Asolo Prosecco Superiore is ideal for enjoying and raising a toast on special occasions.
