Bedin looks back on over 70 years of winemaking tradition, which began when Giacomo Bedin acquired the estate in Cornuda in 1948 and planted the first vineyard there to produce small quantities of wine for family and friends. This humble beginning laid the foundation for what is now a renowned winery.

In the following decades, his son Giovanni significantly shaped the development of the business. As a pioneer among local wine producers, he helped establish the "Mostra del Vino" in Cornuda and expanded the estate's vineyards by planting new vines on the southern slopes of the Colli Asolani. This location is ideal for cultivating the Glera grape variety, which forms the basis for the house's high-quality Prosecco.
