James Fleming founded the Aberlour Distillery in 1879 in the heart of Speyside, a region renowned worldwide for its premium whiskies. The location, picturesquely situated at the confluence of the Lour Burn and the River Spey and nestled in the impressive landscape of Ben Rinnes, was carefully chosen. The crystal-clear, soft spring water, which flows over the pink granite of Ben Rinnes and originates from nearby springs, gives Aberlour whisky its distinctive character.

Aberlour Triple Cask Speyside Single Malt matured in two different types of American white oak casks as well as in European sherry casks. These three cask types, which lend the whisky its exceptional depth and complexity, also gave it its name Triple Cask.

The result is an impressively harmonious and complex single malt.
