The Deanston distillery was founded in 1965. Whisky production began a year later, and in 1971, the first products were launched under the name Old Bannockburn.

After Invergordon Distillers took over in 1972, the first single malt under the Deanston name was sold two years later. The distillery closed in 1982 but celebrated its reopening in 1991 under Burn Stewart Distillers.

Deanston Organic American Oak 2002 is a limited, award-winning bottling and an exclusive addition to the range of organic single malts. Matured for 20 years in hand-selected, re-charred organic American oak casks, this whisky develops impressive depth and complexity. The maturation intensifies Deanston's characteristic waxy and citrusy profile, while the whisky's natural color—a deep golden hue—reflects its full cask maturation.

Bottled at cask strength with 49.7% alcohol by volume, non-chill filtered, and with no added coloring, this organic whisky remains authentic and unadulterated.
