Diversitas, a wine producer from Loreto Aprutino in Abruzzo, cultivates leased plots in other sub-regions of the area in addition to its main winery at the foot of the Gran Sasso.

This approach enables a diverse production of indigenous wines, including Pinot Grigio, which originated from a bud mutation of Pinot Noir. Together with a winemaker, Diversitas manages a parcel in the Pescara sub-region, cultivated using environmentally friendly methods, including cover cropping between the rows.

Yields amount to 12,000 kg per hectare, with one plant producing four bottles of wine. After harvesting in September, the grapes are gently pressed, fermented in steel tanks under cool conditions, and refined through micro-oxygenation. The wine matures in the bottle for 3–4 months and stands for sustainable practices and modern cellar technology.
