The grapes originate from vineyards whose soils consist of clay and marl – a combination that gives the wine its special minerality and complexity. The wine is aged after natural spontaneous fermentation and slow maturation on fine lees, both in stainless steel tanks and in large wooden barrels, which gives the wine its fine structure and depth. The wine is sealed with a glass stopper, which optimally preserves the aromas. With an aging potential from 2025 to 2031, the Tement Weissburgunder Ton & Mergel shows that it will gain even more complexity and finesse in the coming years.
