The base of this molasses rum consists of a blend of an 8-year-old column still and a 5-year-old pot still rum, matured in ex-Bourbon barrels under tropical conditions in Barbados. The second maturation takes place in exclusive Austrian sweet wine casks (Sélection de Baies), deepening and refining the rum's aromas. This special finishing gives Hummingbird Rum its distinctive character and makes it a true masterpiece.
