The Conde Valdemar Gran Reserva Rioja DOC 2017 is a matured, premium wine from the heart of La Rioja, Spain's most traditional wine region. The Bujanda family, owners of the renowned Conde Valdemar winery, can look back on over 130 years of winemaking history and is one of the region's style-defining estates. This Gran Reserva comes from the Rioja Alta region and represents elegant, classically vinified Rioja with great depth and aging potential.

The cuvée consists of Tempranillo, Graciano, Garnacha and the indigenous Maturana variety – an exciting interplay that combines complexity, fruit and aging potential. The vines thrive on clay soils, which provide structure and substance in the wine. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matured for 25 months in French and American oak, which gives it depth, elegance and fine spice. Sealed with natural cork and with aging potential until at least 2027, this wine is an ideal representative of the classic Rioja style with a modern refinement.
