This special edition of the Highland Blended Malt was specifically crafted to harmoniously accompany cheese, and was matured in selected Madeira wine casks, which lend the whisky a fruity-spicy, elegantly matured note.

Bottled at a robust 48% ABV, non-chill filtered and without colouring, this whisky presents itself in its original form – full of character, unadulterated, and with great depth. The blend is based on selected single malts from the Scottish Highlands, typically including bottlings from Glen Garioch, Blair Athol, or Dalmore, which give the whisky its smooth texture, honeyed sweetness, and subtle spice. The finish in Madeira Casks highlights the fruity complexity and rounds off the profile with notes of dried fruit, grapes, and nutty warmth.

The Timorous Beastie is named after Robert Burns' poem of the same name – a playful homage to the "timorous beastie," which in the glass is anything but shy.
