With the limited edition Ardbeg Smokiverse, the Islay distillery celebrates its 25th Ardbeg Committee anniversary in spectacular fashion. This release is not only a milestone but also a testament to the distillery's continuous spirit of innovation. At the heart of this bottling is a fascinating technical approach: the so-called High Gravity Mashing – a groundbreaking variation of the mashing process in which the amount of water was drastically reduced and an even higher concentration of malted barley was used.

This extreme densification in the mash tun, one of the central elements of production at Ardbeg, created a densely structured wort. From this, a whisky emerged that impresses with particularly fruity ester aromas, sweet depth, and powerful smokiness. The result is a new dimension of Ardbeg, where the distillery's heritage is combined with futuristic technology. Smokiverse is produced in small batches, each with its own character. Bottled at 48.3% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and natural color, this edition offers an intense and complex taste experience.
