The Hillinger HILL 3 2024 8% Vol. 0.375 l is a nobly sweet Trockenbeerenauslese of extraordinary intensity, balance, and aromatic depth. As the sweet flagship of the Burgenland flagship winery Leo Hillinger, this wine combines the highest level of craftsmanship, ripeness, and complexity in a powerful, elegant composition that impressively showcases the potential of Austrian sweet wines.

The grapes for the HILL 3 come from selected sites and are hand-harvested when they are heavily shriveled and highly concentrated due to noble rot (Botrytis cinerea). The long fermentation of 4 to 5 months in stainless steel tanks ensures a careful development of the full aromatic spectrum. Subsequently, the wine matures for about 12 months in barrels or tanks, gaining additional complexity, structure, and an excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. With an alcohol content of only 8% Vol., but intense aromatics and opulent concentration, it has a remarkable aging potential of 10 to 20 years.
