The Landauer Gisperg Gumpoldskirchner Rotgipfler DAC 2023 is an expressive yet elegant white wine from the Thermenregion in Lower Austria, made from the rare autochthonous Rotgipfler grape variety. This old-established vine finds ideal conditions in the region around Gumpoldskirchen, characterized by southeast-facing slopes, calcareous gravel soils, and a mild, sunny climate.

As a classified DAC regional wine, this vintage authentically brings the special terroir of the Pfaffstätten site to the glass. The grapes come from quality-oriented vineyards, are hand-selected, and then aged in large wooden barrels. The result is a certified organic and vegan white wine that convinces with regionality, individuality, and artisanal skill. The name Rotgipfler, incidentally, refers to the reddish coloring of the shoot tips – another indication of the authenticity of this special grape variety, which grows almost exclusively in the Thermenregion.
