Description
The Platzer Welschriesling Ried Aunberg 2024 is an outstanding DAC white wine from the Vulkanland region of Styria, which impresses with its precise aromas, fresh acidity and the distinctive character typical of the region. With an alcohol content of 12 % vol. and a dry style, this Styrian Welschriesling embodies lightness, terroir and clarity in the glass. The grapes come from the renowned Ried Aunberg, a vineyard site with medium-heavy, calcareous cultivated soil characterised by fine Tertiary sediments – ideal conditions for elegant, mineral-driven white wines.
The vinification follows the classic Styrian method. After careful harvesting, the grapes are vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to best preserve freshness, fruit and varietal character. The wine is sealed with a practical screw cap and impresses not only with its approachable drinking pleasure, but also with its quality and ageing potential. It has ageing potential until at least 2028, making this wine ideal for stocking up or as a gift. A Welschriesling with a distinct sense of place, freshness and a clean Linie – made for modern connoisseurs.
