The Salzl Rosé Cuvée 2024 is an expressive, fruit-driven yet finely structured rosé wine from Burgenland, captivating with its invigorating freshness and harmonious aromatics. This elegant cuvée combines the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which grow on different soils – Chernozem from loamy sand, sandy subsoil, and black earth from loamy silt with a high gravel content – thus contributing to the wine's complex multifaceted nature.

The vinification is particularly gentle: After a short maceration period, the juice is drawn off the mash without pressing and then fermented at 15 °C in stainless steel tanks. A subsequent 2-month aging on fine lees provides additional creaminess and balance. With 13.5% vol. alcohol, the Salzl Rosé 2024 offers not only vibrant fruit and delicate spice but also aging potential until at least 2027 with optimal storage.
