The Salzl Chardonnay Premium 2022 is a powerful, complex, yet extremely elegant white wine from the Burgenland Seewinkel region – a prime example of masterful craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. Made from 100% Chardonnay, this premium wine showcases the full expressiveness of the grape variety while impressively highlighting the characteristics of the terroir. The vines grow on pararendzina soil, a loamy-sandy subsoil with a high proportion of gravel, which gives the wine its dense structure and distinctive minerality.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 15°C in small oak barrels, where the wine then matures on its fine lees – including regular stirring (bâtonnage). This traditional method not only gives the Chardonnay Premium a creamy richness but also great depth and aromatic density. With 14% Vol. alcohol, it is powerful and balanced, with impressive aging potential until at least 2034 with optimal storage.
