Distilled in 2006, the rum was made from molasses using Foursquare's typical pot and column still methods. It then matured for 14 years in a former bourbon cask in Barbados, where the tropical climate facilitated intense cask interaction and flavor concentration. Afterwards, the rum was aged for an additional 3 years in Europe to develop further complexity and depth. This single-cask edition was bottled in November 2023 at cask strength of 59% Vol., naturally colored, non-chill filtered, and without additives – an honest, authentic expression of Barbadian distillation art.
