Val de Rance Cru Breton Cidre Doux is a mild, traditional apple cider from Brittany which, with an alcohol content of just 2 % vol., is one of the lightest of its kind. Produced by the long-established cooperative Les Celliers Associés, this cider is made from carefully selected apple varieties typical of the region and is crafted according to traditional Breton methods. Only fresh apples are used; these are gently pressed, fermented at low temperatures and bottled without any additives or preservatives.

The Cru Breton Doux is a prime example of the sweeter style of French ciders, which is particularly prized in Brittany. The low alcohol content is achieved by halting fermentation early, thereby retaining a high proportion of the natural fruit sweetness.
