It is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from 15-year-old vines that thrive on lean red gravel and ripen under ideal climatic conditions in the famous "Pflaster von Andau" (Andau Pavement).


Hand-picking guarantees the highest quality, followed by spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks with a four-week maceration period. The wine then ages for 16–18 months in barriques, which gives it additional depth, complexity, and aging potential. With an alcohol content of 14.5% Vol. and an aging potential until 2034, it is both an immediate pleasure and a candidate for long-term cellaring.
