Takamaka PTI LAKAZ Rum Batch 2 45.1% is a characterful blended rum from the Seychelles, combining tropical ageing on the island with a variety of distillation styles and ingredients from different origins. At its heart lies traditionally pot-still-distilled Seychelles rum made from sugar cane, sourced from four different casks, including two port casks. This base is complemented by pot still and column still molasses rum, which has been aged for three years in ex-bourbon casks, as well as an eight-year-old Foursquare rum from Barbados. This unusual blend lends the Pti Lakaz a distinctive depth, in which local Seychelles tradition, Caribbean maturity and diverse cask characteristics come together harmoniously.

At 45.1% ABV, the Takamaka Pti Lakaz Batch 2 displays an intense yet balanced profile featuring dried fruits, spices and tart cocoa notes. Particularly distinctive are notes of dried apricot, star anise and cocoa beans, which combine with dry cask spice to create a complex overall profile. This rum is bottled without added sugar or colouring, and is also bottled without chill filtration, thereby preserving its structure and original character.
