The Frescobaldi winery is one of Italy's oldest and most renowned producers, having stood for wines of the highest quality for centuries.


The foundation of this Riserva is primarily the Sangiovese grape, complemented by small proportions of classic complementary grape varieties such as Malvasia Nera, Colorino, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from the vineyards around the Castello di Nipozzano in the Chianti-Rúfina zone – one of the oldest and most prestigious growing areas of Chianti. After harvesting, the wine is traditionally vinified and then aged for over 24 months in oak barrels, giving it structure, depth, and fine spice. The 2022 vintage impresses with its elegance, complexity, and a perfect balance of fruit, tannin, and acidity.
