The SOMMOS Varietales Somontano D.O.P. 2022 is a distinctive Spanish red wine from the up-and-coming Somontano region in Aragon. This cuvée uses the grape varieties Syrah, Garnacha, and Tempranillo, which find ideal conditions in the high altitudes at the foot of the Pyrenees. The calcareous and gravelly soils, as well as the continental climate with hot days and cool nights, give the grapes a pronounced aroma, power, and at the same time an elegant freshness.


The grapes are carefully hand-picked and fermented under temperature control. The wine then matures for several months in oak barrels, which gives it additional depth, spice, and structure.
