The Douglas Laing Old Particular Caol Ila 9 Years Old 2015 is an exclusive single cask bottling from the renowned Old Particular series by independent bottler Douglas Laing. With a robust 56.8% ABV, a maturation period of 9 years, and bottled in an elegant 0.7-liter bottle complete with a stylish gift box (GB), this single malt is aimed at lovers of intense and unadulterated whiskies.


This single cask Islay whisky was distilled in May 2015 and bottled in June 2024. It received a special finish in a Ruby Port Butt, which imparts additional depth, fruity sweetness, and an elegant complexity. Like all bottlings in the Old Particular series, it is non-chill filtered and comes without artificial coloring, thus fully preserving its natural purity and cask character.


The combination of the smoky-maritime character of the Caol Ila Distillery and the fruity-sweet influences of the Ruby Port cask makes this edition an exceptional representative of the series. As a single cask bottling, it is strictly limited and therefore particularly interesting for collectors.
