The Bottega Alexander Aqva di Vita Grappa Amarone is an outstanding Italian pomace brandy, obtained from the skins of grapes used to produce the famous Amarone della Valpolicella. This noble grappa perfectly reflects the character of its original wine – powerful, elegant, and with unmistakable aromatic depth.


The foundation for its exceptional quality is the careful selection and storage of fresh, wine-infused pomace, sourced from the best vineyards in the Valpolicella region. These grapes are first dried before being pressed to create the Amarone wine. The resulting pomace then serves as the basis for this fine grappa.


Distillation takes place in traditional copper pot stills in three phases and at different temperatures, to preserve a maximum of aroma. Vacuum distillation is employed to protect the volatile aromas, while bain-marie heating (water bath) allows for particularly gentle distillation. The result is a grappa of exceptional purity and depth, embodying the characteristic notes of Amarone pomace. It then ages for around six months in stainless steel tanks, further refining its soft structure and harmonious aroma.
