The Lochlea Orchard & Oak Single Estate Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from the independent Lochlea Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands, known for its authentic approach and exclusive use of its own barley. As a single estate whisky, this bottling stands for the highest transparency and traceability, as every step from barley harvest to bottling takes place on the estate itself. Bottled at 46% ABV, it convinces with balance and fine complexity.


Maturation took place in an exceptional combination of Bourbon casks, new oak casks, and Calvados casks, which give it an exciting multi-layered character. While the Bourbon casks bring notes of vanilla and caramel, the new oak casks provide spicy depth and structure, and the Calvados casks from Normandy contribute fruity apple and pear aromas. The Orchard & Oak is bottled non-chill filtered and in natural color without dyes, which emphasizes its original purity and quality.
