The Lochlea Smoke Without Fire Single Estate Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an innovative bottling from the independent Lochlea Distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. As a single estate whisky, it is produced exclusively from the distillery’s own barley, grown in its fields. It thus embodies transparency, authenticity and an uncompromising philosophy of quality. Maturation took place in a combination of ex-peated casks and red wine casks, giving this whisky an exciting bouquet. The ex-peated casks lend it a subtle smoky note, whilst the red wine casks add fruity depth, red berry notes and gentle tannins. It is bottled without chill filtration and without colouring, ensuring that its natural purity and authentic aroma are fully preserved.
