Using strictly selected fruits, traditional mash fermentation, and a particularly gentle double distillation method, they create distillates that set global standards.


For this limited bottling, only fully ripe, sun-kissed Wachau apricots from Lower Austria are used. The Wachau is one of Europe's best-known and most renowned apricot regions, famous for its unique climate and mineral-rich soils, which give the fruits a particularly intense aroma. After careful hand-picking, the fruits are mashed and gently fermented over several weeks before being double distilled using the traditional distilling process.


The distillate is then stored for several years in open glass demijohns in the distillery's attic. There, it matures with natural temperature fluctuations, gaining elegance and developing its incomparable aromatic depth. With an alcohol content of 50% Vol., the Rochelt Wachauer Marille 2018 is powerful, intense, yet harmonious.
