The Erwin Sabathi Gelber Muskateller Ried Krepskogel Südsteiermark DAC 2024 is an outstanding Austrian white wine that embodies the typical characteristics of Southern Styria in its purest form. It comes from Ried Krepskogel, a classified Erste STK Lage (first-class STK site), which is characterized by its steep, south-facing slopes with an average gradient of 55%. At an altitude of 440 to 515 meters, the grapes ripen under optimal conditions, cooled by alpine winds and supplied with intense sunlight.


The Gelber Muskateller grape variety is cultivated here organically and sustainably. Hand harvesting guarantees the highest quality, while fermentation with natural yeasts takes place using traditional methods. The wine then matures for 12 months in large, classic wooden barrels before being bottled with a screw cap. This natural winemaking and aging process gives the wine elegance, freshness, and longevity. With a drinking maturity of five years or more, it has exceptional aging potential and impressively demonstrates that Gelber Muskateller is not only a light summer wine but also a structured and long-lived premium wine.
