The Gager Quattro Burgenland 2022 is a distinctive Austrian red wine from Central Burgenland, embodying the full strength and elegance of this region. It unites the four grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Zweigelt into a cuvée of international caliber. The grapes originate from sun-drenched sites characterized by loamy and calcareous soils, which lend the wine its dense structure and minerality. The Pannonian climate, with hot summers and cool nights, ensures perfectly ripened berries with intense aromatics and vibrant freshness.


Following selective manual harvesting, vinification is carried out with the utmost care. Subsequently, the Quattro matures for over 18 months in small oak barrels (barriques), gaining additional complexity, depth, and subtle toasted aromas. With an alcohol content of 14.5% Vol. and traditionally sealed with natural cork, it is a long-lived wine with great aging potential.
