Sauza Hacienda Plata is made from the heart of the blue Weber agave (Agave Tequilana Weber Azul), which thrives in the fertile soils of Jalisco. After harvesting, the agave hearts are gently cooked, fermented, and then double-distilled to produce a particularly pure, fresh, and light tequila. This clear, unaged variety ("Plata") expresses the natural, sweet and spicy taste of the agave in a particularly unadulterated way.
