The La Trappe Trappist Dubbel is an authentic Trappist beer from the Netherlands, brewed in the Abbey of Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven according to the traditional brewing art of Trappist monks. With an alcohol content of 7% by volume, it is one of the classic dubbels and impresses with its full-bodied, malt-accentuated character. The Dubbel captivates with its deep brown color with ruby red reflections and its dense, creamy head. It is brewed from selected malt varieties, hops, yeast and pure spring water, creating a rich spectrum of aromas. Typical are the malty-sweet notes, accompanied by caramel, dried fruit, toffee and a fine spiciness. The finish is harmonious and balanced, with a slight bitterness that rounds off the taste and ensures drinking pleasure.
