The Glendalough Pot Still Irish Whiskey Batch 3 is a traditional yet unique release from Ireland, embodying the classic style of pot still whiskey in its purest form. With an alcohol content of 43% ABV, this whiskey is distilled using old methods in pot stills, which gives it its characteristic richness and complexity. It is non-chill filtered and uncolored, thus preserving its natural purity and authenticity.


The initial maturation takes place in American oak casks previously used for bourbon. This phase imparts soft and sweet notes to the whiskey. Subsequently, it undergoes a secondary maturation in rare Irish oak casks made from oak sourced from the Wicklow Mountains. This combination creates a harmonious balance: the gentle sweetness from the bourbon casks is complemented by the robust, spicy, and slightly tart aromas of the Irish oak, resulting in a distinctive interplay of flavors.
