The Beneva Mezcal with Agave Worm 100% Agave PDO 38% Vol. 0.7 l comes from the Mexican state of Oaxaca, the traditional and protected region of origin (PDO) for high-quality Mezcal. The prevailing climatic conditions and the mineral-rich soil there are ideal for the growth of the Agave Espadín, whose heart – the so-called piña – is harvested after about nine years of ripening. From this piña, sugary juices are extracted, which are then fermented and distilled using a traditional artisanal process over 200 years old. This elaborate production process guarantees a 100% natural product that preserves the authentic character of traditional Mezcal and makes Beneva one of Mexico's leading export Mezcals.


The name Benevá comes from the Zapotec language and means "the elder, the wise, the experienced." It symbolizes respect, knowledge, and responsibility passed down through generations – values that are also reflected in the production of this Mezcal. The label features the goddess Thirteen Snake, inspired by Tomb 19 of the Monte Albán archaeological site, a symbol of wisdom and spiritual power. Beneva Mezcal matured in white oak barrels, which gives it additional depth and fine woody notes. What makes it special: Each bottle contains a real maguey worm, a traditional symbol of strength, purity, and the authenticity of Mexican spirits culture.
