The Salzl Cuvée 3-5-8 Premium 2020 is an impressive Austrian red wine from the Neusiedlersee wine region in Burgenland, considered a true flagship of the Salzl Seewinkelhof winery. This exceptional cuvée combines Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to create a powerful, profound, yet harmonious wine that stands for the highest quality, precision, and passion.


The grapes come from old vines growing on sandy soils and black earth with loamy silt and a high gravel content – a terroir that allows for optimal ripeness, concentration, and minerality. After harvesting, gentle vinification takes place before the wine matures for 24 months in small oak barrels (100% new wood). This long barrel aging gives it its dense structure, fine roasted notes, and exceptional complexity. With an alcohol content of 14% Vol., the Salzl Cuvée 3-5-8 Premium is a dry, perfectly balanced red wine with great aging potential – ready to drink 2025–2035.
