The Polz Sauvignon Blanc Südsteiermark Ehrenhausen DAC 2022 is an impressive white wine from Southern Styria, embodying the pure elegance and authenticity of this unique wine region. The renowned Polz winery from Ehrenhausen has stood for generations for precise craftsmanship, uncompromising quality, and terroir-driven wines with a clear style. The 100% Sauvignon Blanc grape variety comes from selected plots with coral limestone soils, which impart its striking minerality and structure to the wine. The wine is aged in used large wooden barrels, allowing the complex aromas to develop optimally without overshadowing the typical fruit. This results in a Southern Styrian Sauvignon Blanc with character, balance, and length. With a drinking maturity until at least 2027, screw cap, and an ideal drinking temperature of 8–10 °C, this vintage offers the highest enjoyment – both young and with some maturity.
