With an alcohol content of 47% ABV (94 Proof), this whiskey combines the characteristic depth and smoothness of Elijah Craig bourbons with the aromatic intensity of a classic American rye.


Elijah Craig Straight Rye is produced using a distillation process similar to the distillery's Small Batch Bourbon, but with a crucial difference in the mashbill: instead of a corn-heavy recipe, this whiskey is based on at least 51% rye, supplemented by corn and malted barley. This combination ensures an unmistakable balance between the spice of the rye and the sweetness of the corn, while the long maturation in charred American oak barrels gives it its characterful depth and smooth structure.


The Elijah Craig Rye is thus a classic representative of the Kentucky style – robust, aromatic, and yet wonderfully harmonious. Through careful barrel selection and the expertise of the Master Distiller, a whiskey is created that impresses both neat and in classic cocktails.
