The maturation initially took place for 7 years in Bourbon Barrels, before the whisky was aged for another 8 years in selected French Oak Grand Cru Casks. These casks were previously used for maturing high-quality, still white wines from a prestigious region in northeastern France and significantly shape the aromatic depth of this edition. It was bottled non-chill filtered and without added coloring, to fully preserve the authentic character of the whisky.
